Mansell Raceway reserves the right to exclude any driver who is unable to maintain adequate control of the kart or for any driving standards that are likely to endanger the driver or others and damage to equipment.

What do I need to wear?
It is advisable to wear flat shoes, trousers and a tee shirt as a full race suit, gloves and Arai helmets will be provided.

When can I go?

Is karting dangerous?
It can be and we will ask you to sign a disclaimer, however we do take every step to provide the safest experience.

Can we go karting if we have been drinking?
Absolutely not!

What safety equipment is provided?
Race suits, gloves and Arai race helmets, as well as waterproofs if needed. Also our team of race marshals will control the race at all times to make sure everything goes safely and smoothly.

How fast do the karts go?
Our single engine karts go up to 45mph.

Can I eat at the site?
We don't have facilities for food on-site at the moment, though we can organise something for events or big groups depending on your requirements. Please contact us for further details.

Can we come if it is raining?
Rain is not a problem as we provide waterproofs. It is advisable to bring a spare change of clothes and give us a ring on the day if you are unsure.

Is there an age or height restriction?
All drivers must be a minimum of 16 years old for Sprint Race and Grand Prix events.
All drivers must be a minimum of 12 years for Arrive and Drive and tuition classes. We advise persons aged 12-14 to have private sessions for their track safety.
